What is covered: All products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
Who is covered: This warranty extends only to you as the original purchaser, in a residential application.
What is not covered: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage or loss caused by abuse or misuse or improper installation. All materials can lose original intensity after long exposure to the sun. When left for extended periods in direct sunlight, plastics tend to crack. All cords will eventually wear out. We consider these things normal wear and tear not covered by this warranty. Colors may vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match sample swatches or previous purchases.
For How Long: This warranty coverage will be for as long as you the original buyer at retail owns the products. Any implied warranties which you may have are in duration to the time during which you, as the original buyer at retail own our products. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts.
What We Will Do: If your product is defective during the warranty period we will, at our option, either repair or replace, without charge, that defective product. This shall be your sole remedy under this warranty.
No Liability for Incidental or Consequential Damages: Repair or replacement of defective products are your sole remedy under this warranty and incidental in no event shall we be liable for transportation costs to or from the dealer, costs of removal or reinstallation of our products or incidental or consequential damages, so the limitation or exclusion may not be applied to you.
How to get Service: To obtain service under this warranty, return your products along with the original sales receipt to the dealer from which it was purchased. You will be responsible for transporting the product to and from the dealer.
Your rights under State Law: This warranty gives you the specific legal rights, you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
Please be sure to order samples before placing your order. Monitor colors vary dramatically by manufacturer and lighting environment you're in. For this reason, we cannot honor our satisfaction guarantee on colors for those who did not previously order color samples.
Due to the variances in the wood's natural color, grain, etc. each dye lot will vary for any of the stained wood products. These variances are minimal, but there is no way to assure the exact color of stained wood blinds. If you are ordering multiple blinds we strongly recommend that you order all of them at the same time to ensure they come from the same dye lot and will match one another. Sample colors may also vary slightly as our samples may come from different dye lots than the blinds you receive.
Shipping is Free on all orders under approx. 90 inches. Orders 90 inches and over may incur an oversize handling fee.

Order Changes and Cancellations
We will do everything we can to help you with any changes to your order. We send your order directly to the manufacturer to ensure prompt production and delivery of your blinds. Most orders may be changed within the first 24 hours for no additional fees, however certain items instantly go into production and may incur a fee to change. Absolutely no changes after 24 hours. Orders may be cancelled within the first 24 hours for a minimum 10% transaction fee. All changes and cancellations must be done via phone.
All Phone order customers are responsible to verify their orders on the order confirmation that is emailed to them after checkout. Customers that fail to do so will void the satisfaction guarantee on the website. This is a tool to ensure no mistakes are made. We strongly suggest that you review your email confirmation after every order. If a customer does not receive an email confirmation for any reason such as an incorrectly entered email address, it is the customer's responsibility to contact usablinds in order to obtain their order confirmation.

We know that your window covering project is a significant investment, therefore we recommend your first order be for only one blind or shade so you can judge for yourself the quality and workmanship of our products. For this reason, we can only offer our satisfaction guarantee on the first blind or shade ordered. Additionally, as color selection and quality is very important, we require you to order free samples of our products in order to utilize our satisfaction guarantee. This will enable you to confirm color selection as well as quality.
Note: Dealer orders are not covered under our satisfaction guarantee.
Damaged Shipments / Freight Claims Policy
Upon the arrival of your order, immediately open and inspect it for any possible manufacturing defects or shipping damage. If you find product damaged or defective keep all packaging material as well as all blinds and parts and contact us as soon as possible! All remakes must be made according to the specifications given at the time of the original order. No exceptions! Any orders having defects from the manufacturer or from the freight carrier will be replaced or repaired as long as you contact us within 10 days of receipt of your order! Make sure to contact us within the specified 10 days or the defects or damage will be replaced or corrected at your expense. If the product requires replacement, you will be given a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address to return the product. All returns must have an RGA number for a refund or exchange. Keep your orginal boxes and packaging materials in the event you need to return your blinds, Usablinds cannot provide packaging materials. Please inspect your shipment before installing. Usablinds is not responsible for any installation fees.
In the event that your window coverings come damaged due to distress during shipping or manufacturing, please be advised that Usablinds Customer Service may require at its sole discretion that a digital picture be taken of the damaged product and sent to our customer service department. Usablinds may ask for a digital picture to expedite the process of coordinating either a remake or a repair of your window covering. Without a picture Usablinds Customer Service Department can not coordinate either a remake or a repair, without having the original product being sent back to Usablinds' manufacturer. If a customer is not willing to comply with this request, then it will be the customer’s responsibility to pay for a remake or the repair until the damaged product is sent back to our manufacturing facility where the product was made. After which, Usablinds will credit back the customer for the remake or repair.
If an order is shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address due to the customer's mistake, the customer is responsible for postage to re-ship the blinds. Usablinds is not responsible for mistakes made by the shipping company.
